We hate to say it, but the Aussies have done a top job of pulling together a pretty slick biosecurity toolkit. This website has lots of templates you can download and use including visitor records, gate signs, vehicle cleaning recording, staff training record keeping, emergency animal disease action plan, and crop biosecurity checklists. If there’s one website to visit this is it!

This great 5min video has lots of practical things you can do to ensure that your biosecurity plan is both practical and effective.

If you’re a grazier you can also download their very comprehensive  National Farm Biosecurity Reference Manual – Grazing Livestock Production. This document was the culmination of two years work by six peak industry bodies.
